Links of London was a great success story of the 1990s and new millennium, becoming one of the UK’s leading jewellery brands renowned for their signature charm bracelets.
Jewellery designer, Annoushka Ducas, founded Links of London with husband, John Ayton, to supply luxury jewellery designs at affordable prices. Clark Group supported the brand in four rounds of investment, aiding growth from turnover of £7.5 million in 1999 to sales of over £28 million in 2006.
Annoushka and John sold Links of London for £46 million to Greek jewellery giant, Folli Follie, in 2006. It was considered to be a fine fit – a family business with a similar structure and culture to Links that also brought the much-desired strong distribution channels throughout China, Japan and the Far East.
